Kedwardian Women's Sporting Oxfords (Black)

I wear a 9W and normally struggle to walk in heels that are 2” or more, but not these beauties!

I’m able to run up and down flights of stairs, stand at my desk, and routinely walk 2 miles on uneven cobblestone in them on my lunch break. They are so comfortable and sturdy.

The rubber sole also gets a bit more traction than the leather soles some of the other shoes have.

I’m honestly heartbroken I wasn’t able to nab these in all the colours. I hope they make a return!

Was debating back and forth to purchase these due to the toe box shape, which has been a hit or miss for me in the past. However given the uppers are canvas I thought I would at least give them a try because WHO doesn't need a pair of white "sneakers" for the summer?

I ordered my regular 6.5 and tried them on late afternoon when my feet are at their widest, and wonderful surprise! Super comfy and no pinching! I wore a thin stocking which is what I would wear with these and walked around on the carpet for the trial and I will be keeping them for sure. I also suspect they will be easy to clean up due to the canvas and I live in SW Virginia where the red clay is death to any light colored shoe.

I'm giving them a 4 instead of a 5 because of the few colorways; a light tan/brown, yellow, and/or pink would be very welcome additions to the line. I personally wouldn't want to dye them as I'd be afraid of botching the job.

I was overjoyed when I saw American Duchess was making a fabric+rubber sole Edwardian shoe and these bad boys do NOT disappoint. They fit true to size (for me) and are extremely comfortable. The rubber sole and fabric upper means I don't have to worry about the weather or surfaces I take these on, so they've quickly become my go-to shoe for everything from historical events to grocery shopping and even walking my dog.

I ordered my pair in the Navy. They are a perfect fit. I usually wear an 11 to 11 1/2 but I ordered these in a 12 because it has a pointed toe. They do not squeeze the toes. These are so comfortable to walk in with the rubber sole. They are very well made. I am going to treat them with some water proofing. I plan to wear them anytime as would any pair of athletic shoe for casual wear. I love them. I have ordered several other styles from American Duchess in the past, and they are all beautiful quality and perfect fit. I may just order a pair in white for summer.

I just received the Kedwardian in Navy. I was fully prepared to try them on, cry, and return them. I have sort of wide feet with a bunion on my great toe as well as a Taylor’s bunion on my left foot. Too much information, I know! However, these issues make it quite difficult to find comfortable shoes, much less pretty shoes. But, the shoes fit! And they are comfortable. And they make my feet look much more slender than usual. I did order up a size (a 9 instead of an 8). I am so pleased with my purchase and plan to order more. No tears, no returns, and I have lovely new shoes! Thank you!
