Marilyn Women's 1940s Pumps (Brown)

These are gorgeous. The quality is evident, and the line of the show is just as elegant as shown. I had to add arch supports to mine (I splurged for nice ones- arch “cookies” or wedges will fit up against the wall of the shoe for a built-in and natural feel) and now that I have them, the shoes are incredibly comfortable and very walkable. Also, I just walked across a lawn in them (something I was not planning to ever do in these shoes!) and because the heel is so nice and wide, the shoes didn’t sink into the grass at all, and came out on the other side still perfectly clean. The vintage look perfectly accentuates some of my more vintage leaning outfits, while being subtle enough to not look out of place dressing up a nice pair of jeans. I love the red, it sits just on the edge between shades so it can appear to match both true reds and coppery brown or orange tones in an outfit. Super lovely, exactly what I hoped for. Lives up to the reputation for comfort and quality so far, and I’m optimistic that they’ll continue to do so for decades to come.

These shoes are absolutely lovely in person! The quality is wonderful, and the shape of the vamp is so classy and flattering! I have wide feet, except for my heels, which are pretty small, so I often struggle to find shoes that fit comfortably in the toes without slipping off my heels. I ordered my usual size in these shoes, and added heel cushions from Amazon, which took care of that part. They feel slightly snug in the toe and metatarsal area, but I'm pretty confident that they'll stretch to a very comfortable spot as they break in naturally, or with the aid of a shoe stretcher.

I ordered the Ivory but it is more a MINT-GREEN. Not Ivory or even White-ish. Super bummed. I'm a shoe size 6.5 and the shoe fit great. But unfortunately, definitely not the color expected.

I've had my eye on the Marilyn pumps for over a year, and decided to buy them for my wedding shoes. The size I ordered was a half size too big, but the return process was incredibly easy. Within days, I had the correct size! They are beautiful, well constructed, and I can't wait to wear them on my wedding day!

I love my Marilyns! I needed a practical black pump that could go with anything in my wardrobe and these are perfect. The cuban heel makes these shoes so comfortable and balanced. I originally ordered in 8.5, same as my Peggys, and they were far too big. I sized down to an 8 and they fit much better, spot on for the left and still a tiny bit big on the right (I have medium-narrow feet). I stuffed the toe slightly and now they're perfectly snug. Thank you AD for all the gorgeous vintage shoes!!
