Concise, beautiful, inspiring!

I am an experienced seamstress and costumier. Not only is this book visually appealing and instructional, it is informative on finer contemporary techniques. The photographs inspired me to go above and beyond in my sacque gown project!

I loved this book! So informative and interesting. Think I'll have to buy the other book soon....

This is a very interesting book. Im sorry to say it lacks in clarity here and there as there isnt room for pictures of all that is explained. If you already know a bit of sewing then this is a good book. However, if you are an absolute beginner you should pair this with a few clips on YouTube or some such thing for clarification.

Everyone should own this book! Clear instructions and photographs that helped me get through my first attempt at 18th century. My sacque turned out so much better than I could have hoped and I can't recomend this product enough. There is a ridiculous amount of info packed into such a reasonably priced book, and I really appreciate that so many accessories were includes as well as the gowns.
