Based on the lavishly decorated pumps from the Roaring 20s, Marigold is a sumptuous, one-of-a-kind shoe that is fit for dancing the night away.

    Gorgeousness...and comfortable too!

    I got these in the yellow ochre and they are simply gorgeous. The color is so rich - not yellow, not gold, but perfect with just about any color. I was very pleasantly surprised at how truly comfortable they are given the heel height.

    The pictures simply don't do Marigold justice. As with all American Duchess shoes, she is strikingly beautiful. But also amazingly comfortable, right out of the box -- particularly impressive given the heel height. And even more impressive in this age of fast fashion and planned obsolescence: from the moment you slip Marigold on, it's clear that this is a shoe created with quality materials and craftsmanship. The leather is sturdy, yet still supple. There isn't a trace of glue marring the delicate silk. The dainty straps feel durable, and the buckles are not flimsy (as well as being gorgeously adorned with tiny rhinestones, a detail I hadn't noticed before ordering). Added bonus: AD thoughtfully includes an assortment of replacement rhinestones along with their usual extra pair of heel caps, should you happen to lose one during a brisk Charleston.
