Stockings that fit! Finally!

Before these, basically everywhere had the same supplier of silk stockings, and i got a pair of those from a historical-costuming shop. I’m 5’2” and my legs measure only 18” just above the knees and only 22-23” around the thickest part of my thigh. Definitely not a large person. That first pair cut into my legs so horribly when I first tried them on that i never wore them again. They were also very coarse to the touch despite having a fine knit.

So when AD and B&T offered extra stretchy cotton stockings, I was tentatively hopeful that extra-stretchy silk ones would follow. And they finally did!

These stockings have exceeded my expectations in every way! They come all the way up to almost the tops of my thighs and fit gently without cutting in at all! They’re actually soft!

The ivory ones surprisingly appear more opaque on my mid-light Asian skin than the black ones, which are visibly semi-sheer. I suspect that for darker skin tones the reverse will be true. Both are lovely!

All in all, I’m delighted that these exist and highly recommend them to anyone who had the same experience as me with the old style of silk stockings.
