Penelope Regency Slippers (Ivory)
Description
Bring your Regency dreams to life with the perfect pair of delicate dancing slippers. The Penelope slippers offer beauty, comfort, and versatility with so many color pairings, ways to wear the ribbons, and a soft yet durable construction.
These slip-on shoes are accurate for c. 1800 - 1830. They feature a beautiful satin upper embroidered with a historical design on the vamp, complete with spangles. The edges are bound in petersham, with matching optional ankle ribbons and vamp bow which is easily removed. Period-correct turnshoe construction, soft square toe, and real leather soles make the Penelopes unmatched for evening and formal events where the prettiest of shoes are required. Wear them for Jane Austen, Napoleonic, War of 1812, and all Regency events.

Loved Wearing these beautiful slippers so much. They were the perfect edition to my costume and Im looking forward to wearing them again for a different occasion.
These fit like a dream. I decided I needed more inspiration to finally pick my sewing back up. Now that I have shoes, I can start on my historical outfit!!!
These shoes are not only beautiful but are perfect with the regency dress and feel so comfortable. I am so happy with my purchase. I will be wanting to get additional colors. If you are deciding to get them just do it you won’t be disappointed.
Very pretty!! A bit narrow but lovely and comfy!
They are lovely! They are a little snug, but they will stretch once I break them in. Can't wait to wear them for our upcoming Regency Ball!
