Ginger Vintage Pumps (Black)

This is my first experience with American Duchess but a fairly pleasant one. The contour of the shoe is stunning! The photos don’t do it justice. I used the chart and sized down to an 8.5 instead of a 9 and they fit perfectly. My only gripe is that the leather is a bit crinkly on the toe and very crinkly on the heel which I’ve never had on any of my leather shoes. For the price I’d expect everything to be a bit smoother. Happy nonetheless. (Please make them in navy & dark brown)

Very comfy and beautiful shoe.

Beautiful shoe. Straight out of the box, the 8 “fit” because the leather is brand new and firm….but after wearing for a few hours my heels were sliding out of the shoes, which made walking difficult. Definitely size a half size down. Unfortunately, the sizing is inconsistent between styles. I fit an 8 in a couple, and now own 2 pairs (size 8) that I WISH I had ordered in 7.5. And no, gel pads are not the way for me, as I prefer to wear a shoe that fits correctly for the price point.

Felt like heaven as soon as I slipped them on. Soft leather and perfectly balanced. Easy to walk in while keeping the weight on the heels and not the toes.

These shoes are absolutely beautiful. The silhouette is a perfect recreation of an early 1950s baby doll heel. I can’t wait for the other colors to be restocked in my size.
