Overall, very cute shoes. I got my usual shoe size (8) but they were very loose on the heel- I added some heel pads which help but just note you may need to size down half a size from your typical AD shoe size.

Wow, these are so beautiful, like amethyst jewels. I got amazing compliments from some ladies at brunch where they even took my photo. But these plastic shoes (priced comparatively with the leather shoes for some inexplicable reason) were the most uncomfortable, ill-fitting, and impossible shoes I’ve ever worn. Or I should say try to wear! I walked only a few moments from my car, and was so hobbled I almost didn’t make it across the street. I would have been better off barefoot. There’s no “breaking in” plastic shoes. Plus the tip of the diamond bent after these few short steps. There’s no saving these from the donation pile. I should have known better than to trust plastic shoes, but thought I could trust American Duchess. Never again.

While I have wider feet, I sized up and entire shoe size and measured my feed. Normally I’m a 6.5-7 and I ordered a 7.5 thinking it’d be enough. However, they’re way too small in the front. They’re so beautiful but fall small :(

If you think these shoes are beautiful online, just wait until you see them in person. They are so gush-worthy. The color is gorgeous, and the velvet is soft and high quality. Additionally, and best of all, they are truly comfortable.

I have hard to fit feet. Wide toe box area, higher instep, and average or narrow heel. Nothing ever fits quite right out of the box, and even wide sizes are often not quite wide enough in the toe box area.

These fit comfortably right out of the box, and felt so good on my feet! I added a little pad at the heel so my heel didn’t slip out, and now they’re even better. I can’t say enough about these shoes, I love them so much.

I'm so in love with these shoes. The velvet material, the balance of comfort and style. I'll be wearing them with colored tights because I'm not personally a huge fan of the toes showing, but the picture is an accurate example of what that looks like to help you plan if that's not your thing.
