Beautiful

A lovely pair of shoes, probably my new faves over the last pair of shoes I bought here.
They do fit a little large, maybe could have bought a size down, but I like the little bit of extra space. The ties being adjustable really help with this so I don’t think going down a size is necessary. Plenty of room for inserts if you need them as they aren’t actually very comfortable.

I did buy these for a specific event in mind but They fit perfectly with my aesthetic and are a perfect fit in my retro shoe collection. Can’t wait to build my wardrobe up around them further.

Finally!

I am a 6'1 woman with narrow size 12-13 feet. It is so hard to find cute shoes in my size. Especially cute shoes that aren't high heels, platforms, or wide width. These shoes fit like a glove, and though they have heels, the heels are chunky and not ridiculously high, so I think I won't break my neck in the short period of time I'll be wearing them.

I bought them to wear with a specific outfit for graduation; a corp goth retro style pencil skirt/blouse set with a rhinestone spider brooch. I love that the spiderweb shoes will perfectly tie in with the spider brooch and add to vampy vibe, but in a classy, just subtle enough way.

If you are on the fence, I definitely recommend buying a pair! You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful spooky shoes!

An absolutely wonderful, faithfully reproduced pair of quirky 1920s shoes. I adore these. The only reason I can not buy more pairs of American Duchess shoes is because the shipping to Australia is eye wateringly expensive. I know that's not the fault of the company, but it's just a shame :(

The Perfect Subtle Witch Shoes

I bought these around Halloween and they immediately became my favorite pair of shoes. They looked great with all of my witchy outfits during October, but the spiderweb design is also subtle enough to avoid looking too goth if you wear it with other styles.

Every time I’ve worn them I’ve either walked for several miles, stood for an entire concert, or done both so I can confirm how comfortable they are. I don’t wear heels enough to be used to them but I forget these have a heel at all.

Be careful with the recommendations to go down a size, especially if you have wider feet. I’m either an 8.5 or 9 in shoes so I got the 8.5. I think the 9 would have been too big but my toes were pretty cramped at first. It’s getting a lot better as they break in but my toes are naturally pointy enough that I rarely have issues with crowding. If you’re between sizes then I’d say size down, but if you’re always a specific size and your toes usually need space then I’d order your usual size.
