For reference, I usually wear US size 6.5, JP size 24.5 cm.
I've admired these shoes online for over a year, and finally pulled the trigger during a sale. I got the last pair in 6.5, and these are my very first pair of American Duchess shoes. I think I waited 2 weeks thinking AD was just swamped with orders, but I got an email from Christina saying that there was a mixup and my shoes ended up in the US instead of Canada! I'm not sure what she did behind the scenes to track down my shoes, but 2 days after her email my shoes showed up on my doorstep! Very grateful for Christina for reaching out and letting me know. She's an angel!!
About the size, it does feel a little small! I only really have 1 pair of B width heels from Coach (Nikola slingbacks), where size 7 was too big but 6 and 6.5 fit well. I have other heels from years ago that are size 6 (they're a bit small now), but was unsure if they were B width. So I only had my Coach Nikolas for reference. Tbh I hesitated so long on the Antoinettes bc my shoe size doesn't make sense! I've bought the wrong size shoes so many times in the past. Maybe I should have gone with size 7 for the Antoinettes because it feels a little tight on my right foot. BUT the 6.5 ones do fit and I love them. They arrived perfect, no scratches or blemishes despite being the last pair. I've been wearing them around my room and I feel like a princess! So happy with my purchase. I do kind of wish the inside sole was white as well so it's more seamless when wearing white stockings.
For my next AD shoes, I think I'm going to get them full price so I can exchange them for a different size if needed. The craftmanship and customer service are worth it. Thank you again! 💖
