I like them so much I have two.

I originally started with the blue and ivory version of these shoes. I wear them all the time when the weather is dry. I recieved the green pair for this year's birthday. Although, I was a bit surprised at the colour - it looks darker in photos than it is. it's actually the same green as the 18th shoes and mules. I recieve compliments every time I wear them. It's a shame there isn't a referral program because I've sent so many people to your website for these shoes!

Spectacular, showstopping, incredible

These shoes are now some of my favorites. They fit perfectly and they're incredibly comfortable. Coming from American Duchess, this comes as no surprise. They're gorgeous and I plan on wearing them to Pride.

STYLISH QUALITY

Sale price was still a splurge, but a chance to own excellent leather shoes. I purchased a size 12, chancing that my usual size 11 might be too snug in the narrow toe box. Glad I did. Excellent fit and comfort, right out of the box. Wore them right away, walking city streets on the way to an opera performance. I had given up heels, opting for chunky platform styles for even dress occasions. But these add a lovely touch of elegance as well as stylish comport. I love this Edwardian heel. No uncomfortable teetering; a very secure step. The historic design elevates my funky, colorful wardrobe, but would work styling a cos-playing witch. Favorite shoe purchase of the year from someone constantly chasing comfort in new styles.

Love + 1/2 ♥️

I ordered Lucille in my standard size 7.5 to wear to 50th annual Dickens on the Strand. I added a cushion insert, and wore them around the house for 2 evenings to ‘break them in’ a bit before the event.
Yes, they are beautiful with an accent of luxurious velvet. However, within 2 hours my toes were quite sore. Most likely due to the tapered toe box. Perhaps if I had ordered 1/2 size larger? (As it is my personal experience with French designer shoes, and the sizing modification yields a proper fit.)
Next time, I will place an order for 2 pairs (1 in my size, and 1 a 1/2 size larger), and immediately return the one that does not fit. It is after all the risk when shopping online.
I do recommend the shoe, but be mindful of that toe box.
