Pompadour 18th Century Leather Shoes (Ivory)
Description
Pompadour Leather 18th Century Shoes are the picture-perfect footwear for your exquisite Baroque and Rococo costumes.
Named for the famous Madame de Pompadour, these heels are closely based on extant early 18th century shoes found in museums, and feature an easy tabbed closure that can be laced with your favorite colored ribbon, cockade, or pom-pom decoration.
Accurate for the 1680s all the way through the 1760s, the Pompadours feature an all-leather construction, our reproduction Louis heels, pointed toes, and the characteristic white rand seen on original 18th century shoes. Wear them for any and all early 18th c. impressions.

Such a well made shoe! Comfortable, comfortable, comfortable!!!!
Properly described and sized. Identical to a photo. Comfortable and beautiful.
These shoes are as beautiful on your feet as they are on site. High quality construction and materials. Padding in sole for comfort. I don’t typically wear heels but have eyed these for several years so I knew I want them. Wearing them all day from the start, they were surprisingly comfortable. 100% recommended.
I wore these to a recent historic dance party and everyone was in love with them. They fit me like a glove, no slipping out or squeezed toes and I was able to stand, walk and dance on them from 11am to 11pm no problem. The heel though steep is very stable due to the broad base and made it easy to dance in them. They also make the legs look very pretty and I can change the ribbons to whatever matches my current outfit. Would absolutely buy again!
well made, comfortable and fit true to size
