The Flora Boots are designed in collaboration with the Bata Shoe Museum. Every pair of shoes from the In Bloom collection benefits and supports The Bata Shoe Museum in their study, outreach, and conservation of historic footwear.
As a lace-up boot, Floras are very adjustable for a wide variety of ankle, calf, and instep measurements. The top of the Flora boots does not extend to the widest part of the calf muscle. Measurements scale a little based on size.

Ankle range - 9.25 to 13.25 inches / 23.5 - 33.6 cm
Shaft height - 7.8 inches / 20 cm
Boot top range - 11 to 15.5 inches / 28 - 39.3 cm
Tongue width - 4.62 inches / 11.7 cm
Though the antiques were made in silk, our boots are made in a durable and cleanable polyester satin, the ideal choice for footwear built to last. Spritz your shoes with Angelus Water & Stain Repellent to keep them in good condition and looking swell.

From the moment I laid eyes on these boots, I knew I wanted to wear them on my wedding day. I checked the website daily, awaiting the restock of the Ivory color. When I finally spotted them back in stock, I was delighted. And they’re even more breathtaking in person, the embroidery is just beautiful.
I’m usually a UK5 or EU38, regular fit. I ordered a 7W, and they fit perfectly. I wore them around the house to break them in, and they felt very comfortable from the very start. (TIP: I used the plastic bags they came in over the boots to protect the soles from scuffs while trying on & test walking on carpet.)
The shipping was incredibly fast, arriving to New Zealand within just a couple of days. I emailed the customer service team enquiring about restock and always received speedy and friendly responses.

When I opened the box for my boots, I gasped. They are the most beautiful pair of shoes I have ever seen. There were extra laces and heel tips in the box as well.
I purchased an 8W and was terrified they wouldn't fit, as I'm usually an 8R or an 8.5R. I don't typically get a wide shoe, but after reading the reviews, I decided to go for the wide width. I'll be wearing them for quite a while at my wedding, so I want to be super comfortable. The boots fit me PERFECTLY. Pure ecstasy! They feel so comfy, and the wide width was definitely the way to go.
It took a while to unlace and lace them up, as one would expect. Once laced up, however, I was so delighted with how they hug my ankles and make them look slender. Some boots don't do this, and I feel very uncomfortable with a loose ankle. I purchased the water and stain repellant and will be treating them, as satin is obviously delicate.
These were comfortable from the get go, so I bet they'll be even better when broken in. They are prettier than the picture could make them look. The size was true. They came with an extra set of laces, which is nice. I didn't have a lot of trouble putting them on and off, but they do have to have the laces loosened pretty well.
These boots are awesome! I typically wear an 8 and usually get an 8.5 in cowboy boots. I ordered an 8.5 wide since my feet are wide at the toe box but I could have probably stuck with an 8 wide. Everything about the boots feels luxurious and they came with extra laces and heel soles. I am having a regency themed wedding and these will be perfect. They are really wonderful quality and I would love to order more in the future.
