I wore my new Endoras in arsenic green to church yesterday. I sing in the choir, and they were perfectly comfortable right out of the box. I love the leather insides as some synthetics annoy my skin. The French heel is sturdy, and I feel stable in them both standing and walking. I love the "striped" top, too! These shoes are an all-around joy for me. They are definitely not just for historical re-enactments or cosplay.

I almost went with the purple version but switched to the arsenic green at the last minute, thinking they'd coordinate and happily contrast with more things in my wardrobe. It was a good call! They're a gorgeous color with a sort of golden undertone - one of my coworkers thought it almost started to come back around to working as a neutral color. The heel shape is very elegant, and all the usual quality I expect from American Duchess was present.

I ordered a 7 and found it true to size -- keeping in mind that it needs to be paired with hosiery or very thin trouser socks. I'd go up half a size to pair with regular socks, if desired.

Wonderful, but order a half size up!

It seems AD's sizing has gotten a half size smaller with their newer releases. My Bernadettes, Penelopes, and Endoras were all 8.5s and all run small--I exchanged my Endoras for a 9 and I'm so glad that I did, the 8.5s (which is what I almost exclusively get from AD) would've left me with blisters.

That being said, I LOOOOVE them as 9s. They are so comfy, I walked and played around in them for several hours and never once felt an ounce of discomfort. The heel height is great, they feel sturdy, and they look amazing and get sooo many compliments! Wonderful shoes, I'm so glad I got them!!
