Marilyn Vintage Pumps (Navy Blue)

I bought these for my wedding and am delighted with them. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable,

Ordered these for my upcoming wedding. Sizing runs a bit larger than expected but exchanging for a 1/2 size smaller was incredibly easy. They look great but because the uppers are real leather but do require significant breaking in (as real leather shoes require). Some modifications such as an insert for the ball of foot and possibly a pad under the toe of shoe for grip will likely be needed. All of this being said, these are gorgeous, high quality shoes that I know will last for ages and I will happily modify to fit my needs!

They are on the heavy side, but what I needed was a pair of shoes that were elegant that I could wear on stage and sing comfortably. The heel is high enough that they don't look dowdy, but it is wide at the bottom enough that I felt very grounded and stable. I noticed one other person remarked that they squeak a lot and mine did too until I realized if I wore them with hose they didn't. I think it's the big toenail that rubs on the inside of the shoe when you step. I decided to go down 1/2 size because of another review about the foot sliding down into it, which happened to me with another pair of heels. It was the right decision. I do think an anti-slip pad in the front would make them be more comfortable.

Love these shoes. They are very comfortable with a great profile. Even though I typically wear a 9.5 for most of my shoes, I was able to downsize to a 9 since the toe area is rounder.

So I went to Symco (a big vintage car event in August) and wore these shoes all day for one of the days we were there. While your feet generally get a bit sore anyways from being on your feet all day, these were exceptionally better than any other heels I've spent all day in. Plus they look adorable. Highly recommend👍🏻
