Silk Stockings (Ivory, Clocked)
Ivory Clocked Silk Stockings are the ideal legwear for your period costume. Made of delicate off-white silk, our clocked ivory silk stockings feature of tone-on-tone woven clock pattern at the ankles. They come up above the knee, are fully opaque, and will stay up on their own, can be rolled, or tied with ribbon garters. Choose clocked ivory silk stockings for all periods of dress from the 17th century to the 1920s, and add period accuracy and detailing to a well-turned ankle.
Made in the U.S.A.
See our tutorial about how to seam the stockings or to reduce excess footage for small feet. If your legs are wider than the max stretch listed below, cut the top band off, fold the edge and finish with loose zig-zag handstitches, and wear with a ribbon garter for an excellent historical touch!
Care instructions: Hand wash. Do not Bleach. Line-dry to protect the texture.
