Developed directly from an original 1900s design, the Mae feature tone-on-tone suede and smooth leather with a sophisticated Mary Jane strap crossing elegantly over the instep. The 2.25 in / 5.7 cm French heel is delicate and well-balanced, paired with a pointed toe to create the perfect Edwardian and 1920s silhouette.

Wear Mae with fashion from the turn of the 20th century all the way through the mid-1920s, or with your Gothic or Lolita, cottagecore, dark academia, and historybounding outfits, as well as historical WWI, Downton Abbey and Titanic era dress.

I am obsessed. These are even cuter in person. Fit great and wore them to work my first time and they were comfortable. I haven't been able to wear any heal for a few years because of a foot problem and these worked great.

Get a button hook

I thought to myself "I can manage it, it's one button and I'm a grown woman". It beat me solidly. Thrashed me, if I'm honest. Absolutely embaressing. The shoe is gorgeous, and the fit is exact. But there is absolutely no way you're getting that button on without a button hook so go on ahead and buy one now.

Elegant. Comfortable. What's not to like?

Purchased these for my mom as a mothers day gift. They are true to size, she wears 7.5-8 W typically and we decided to go with an 8. The fact that they are a pointy toe did not bother my mom's feet as they are also leather; they fit oh so comfortably. Definitely a winner. More lovely in person! my sister who leans towards a more minimalist modern style was in awe when she saw mom wear these. Now we want a pair too!

Lovely shoe!!

I bought these shoes to go with 1940's apparel - since the Great Depression hit in the 1930's people wore their shoes until they disintegrated! So, many photos you will see if ladies wearing "older" styles since new shoes were hard to come by. These give my outfits that perfect 1940's vibe!!
